2. System overview
The SwitHome solution is composed of four main modules: Insole Sensor System (ISS), Graphical User Interface (GUI) - patient application, Indicators Engine (IE), data processing module and the therapist platform - Antari Home Care Platform (AHCP).
The patient will use the insoles and a tablet running the patient application at home. The patient application will suggest the exercises previously prescribed by his therapist for that day, so the patient can perform an adequate rehabilitation plan.
The Insoles will collect pressure data of the patient’s activity that are sent to the data processing module.
The data processing module will be responsible for the data processing, in order to generate the feedback indicators. The patient will visualize the feedback indicators in real time on the patient application. The latter will display both the planned exercises and the corresponding feedback indicators.
The indicators and the pressure maps will be sent to therapist application that will provide a web interface for the therapist. Here, the therapist will have access to reports about the selected indicators for each exercise and receive, as inputs, the indicators selection, the exercises plan and goals.
